Lincoln Strategic International Website
Lincoln Strategic International is a human capital consulting firm for the mining and mineral industry. My role as the web designer and creative director for this project involved helping the client establish a new visual direction for the brand, and designing a new, more user-friendly website that would attract both potential clients and job-seekers.

UFuture Academy is a new-to-market, ministry-accredited online, virtual high school with a mission of making high school education accessible for all students. Working with this client from scratch, my role as both web designer and creative director involved visual direction and brand identity development, and executing the client’s vision, goals, and needs through the design of the company website.
Boundless Post Secondary Design Challenge
There are numerous barriers to movement that one can face during the Canadian winter season. Specifically, snow and ice-covered ground surfaces pose danger for individuals to move safely through spaces, especially those who use mobility devices.
I felt it was necessary to develop a solution to change the way university campuses approach the barriers of a winter landscape. With a large and diverse student population that the University of Guelph maintains, there comes a need for accessible design that accommodates the winter climate.

Toronto Smart Street
As designers of optimal “user experiences”, it is beneficial to sometimes step away from the screen and find inspiration through built forms and systems. The design of cities in particular can teach UX designers how to cultivate lively, democratic, and more enjoyable digital experiences for users. “Just like cities do, beautifully designed products delight their users, and make them wanting to come back”
“Cities have the capability of providing something for everybody, only because, and only when, they are
created by everybody.”
— Jane Jacobs, The Death and Life of Great American Cities
Toronto Smart Street Design Principles
The designers and planners of our cities are aiming to incorporate more universal design principles to make urban spaces navigable, accessible, safe, and enjoyable for all users.
With the design and development of digital products, many of these principals can be applied in the same way. For example, how might we eliminate unnecessary complexity in a user’s experience with booking a flight, or buying a movie ticket?
